​Succession Ecology were engaged to design and implement a sand drift management plan for North Beach at Wallaroo. This beach had been degraded to the extent that it had become a transient system with sand movement creating a perpetual problem for local residents. To stabilise this system a series of sand drift fences were implemented along with sand movement and revegetation. These works stabilised the dune system, providing a framework for it to build with time and reduced the impact of sand movement on local residents.
